Stabbing Incident

V. SAGUN, Zamboanga del Sur (July 17, 2018) -  Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Gumamela, Barangay Limason, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of June 15, 2018.

Wherein the victim identified as Lemuel Apac Y Montero, 30 years old, married, farmer and a resident of afore-said place was stabbed by his younger brother identified as Junel Apac Y Montero, 27 years old, married and also a resident of said place.

Initial investigation conducted disclose that prior to the incident, the victim are having a drinking spree together with his father Manuel Apac at their residence when a heated argument collides between the two.

However, his younger brother step in and believed to be under the influence of liquor and there and then a brawl between the three ignite. At that moment Junel Apac allegedly stabbed his brother hitting on the left chest of the victim.

Immediately after the incident the victim was brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for medication. Motive of the incident is family problem. PNP elements of Vincenzo Sagun MPS together with Margosa Tubig MPS successfully apprehended the suspect at Margosatubig Regional Hospital at about 10:05 PM of same date and brought the suspect to Vincenzo Sagun MPS for proper disposition.
